![]() Developer Frozenbyte has probably had more success with their Trine series than any of their other projects to date, and this “Complete Story” edition of T2 is perhaps among their best offerings. With “Trine 2: Complete Story” we have a game that’s at once fun and exhilarating as well as rooted in puzzle-solving mechanics. Several live chats and emails later, Sony's reasoning seems to be that I allowed my PS Plus subscription to lapse for a few weeks at some point, and this is somehow the reason as to why Trine 2: Complete Story has disappeared for me.Inspired 2D platformers which take advantage of stunning 3D backdrops seem to be rather popular these days, especially when they’re extremely dynamic. I contacted Sony live chat recently, and after arduously explaining the issue, they confirmed on their end that I had indeed claimed Trine 2: Complete Story when it was available on PS Plus, but had no explanation as to why it had disappeared from my purchase history. So I re-downloaded the demo to see if that would work and the game would somehow authenticate because I had claimed it on Plus. did I download the demo and activate it with a small file, or did I download the full game (that didn't need activation). to indicate I had claimed Trine 2: Complete Story on Plus.īecause it had been so long since I'd initially played it, I wasn't sure how the original download worked, i.e. I went back to it earlier this year and was confused to see the game completely missing in my PS4 library, i.e. I ended up deleting the game with the intention of going back to it, as space is tight on 500GB PS4s. ![]() ![]() ![]() I have trophies unlocked for the game (which aren't available in the demo), as well as screenshots from those later levels, which also aren't available in the demo. I downloaded it and played through several levels in 3D in co-op with my partner. Back in June 2014, Trine 2: Complete Story (PS4) was included in PS Plus's monthly games, and I was excited to try it out, as I'd played 1 & 2 on PS3. ![]()
